Jorge Martin will be looking to hoping to successfully defend the
San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP title.

The Ducati Prima Pramac Racing rider came close to winning the Aragon MotoGP on 1 September, the most recent race on the 2024 MotoGP calendar.
Martin settled for the runner-up spot and he also finished second in the sprint event which saw him collect 29 points from the entertaining race.
MotoGP title ambitions
The Spaniard is still placed at the top of the MotoGP Riders' standings having accumulated 299 points from 12 races.
Martin is 23 points ahead of leader Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo Team with eight races left in the current season.
Why Martin could win the 2024 San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP
The 2014 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup champion was crowned winner of the 2023 San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP after an enthralling race.
Martin has been very consistent - finishing second in the last three races this season and will be keen to go one step further, and win this weekend's race.
What did he say?
“So, taking out Marc [Marquez] I feel I was much stronger than the rest, so this is really good," Martin said after finishing second at the Aragon MotoGP.
"At the moment, my battle is more with Pecco [Bagnaia], so it’s important to be faster than him... Last season [Misano] was incredible for me. I won both races, and I felt super good.
"I felt much faster than the rest. But, for sure, all the Italian riders train a lot there and will be fast. We will see there, [...] we will try to be ready.”
